Here are a few from a recent session with this wonderful family. The eldest loves trains, so we decided to incorporate a little element of that into their photos. That is what is is all about - and what I love about photography - to capture moments, phases and stages - help you cherish them always.

Maternity

These guys are so excited to become parents...and I love that you can see their excitement, love and tenderness shining through. We started out with a cloudy chilly day, but were glad to end up with a bit of sun at Monument Valley Park. Congratulations, I look forward to meeting your little girl!

Wedding: Dharma and Andy

The family and I headed back to Virginia at the end of October to attend my sister's wedding. While I was not her photographer, I could not resist taking some photos during her big day. Congratulation Dharma and Andy...it was a wonderful day!

Maternity: Sarah

While in Virginia for my sister's wedding (photos to come), I not only visited with a dear friend, but had a chance to photograph her growing belly. It was funny to walk around my parents neighborhood...something we used to do 20 years ago! It was so good to see Sarah, especially in all her pregnant glory!

St. Clair Family

This is the third time I have had the pleasure of photographing this family. There have been many changes since I saw them last, and the boys have grown up so much! This amazing open space is right outside the front door of their new home, and they are a short walk from the "100 acre woods" - quite a place to live! I love how big brother was helping to show his little brother the proper jumping technique!
