When Courtney asked me to help her get some new head shots I jumped at the chance. Despite the dreary day, we headed to Old Colorado City. We found colorful store fronts, lots of brick and a few good alleys and arches - and had fun.
I have been wanting to take some photographs at Cheyenne Mountain State Park, and I finally had the chance when doing Sarah's senior portraits. Despite some ominous storm clouds, we were able to grab some great portraits. Congratulations Sarah and best wishes for the coming year!
This past week the kids and I were in Virginia for my sister's bridal shower. Here are a few of the details from the shower. Its official - the wedding count down is on! The beautiful flowers were done by Holly Heider Chapple Flowers, Dharma's wedding florist. Of course I had to throw in a photo of my sweet little sacked out Kaya.
Several weeks back, I was asked to photograph a wedding reception, but there was a little twist. I was hired by the catering company to capture their staff, the foods, decor and details from the reception. The reception featured a lovely buffet, beautiful white orchids and hydrangeas and spectacular cake. Thank you Cari and C Cobb Creations for inviting me to photograph the reception.
